Our Story
"Crazy 4 la Timba" was born from the shared passion and dreams of two friends who were deeply enamored with Cuban music—Lucio Davalos, known as DJ La Pantera, and Luis Duarte. Inspired by their love for the cuban music, they envisioned creating a festival that would not only celebrate this music but also bring together like-minded enthusiasts in one of Europe's most beautiful cities.
In 2022, their vision came to life with the inaugural "Crazy 4 la Timba" festival held in Lisbon. The event quickly established itself as a magnet for Cuban music aficionados, marked by an incredible atmosphere where fans from various backgrounds converged to share their love for the genre. Highlighted by performances from notable artists like Alain Perez and Renesito Avich, the first edition was a resounding success, capturing the authentic spirit and joy of Cuban music.
As the festival's reputation grew, so did the organizing team. What is the difference between the different ticket options?
- VIP Pass: Includes access to all workshops and parties, a choice of one exclusive bootcamp, a free festival T-shirt, and complimentary drinks at the parties.
- Fullpass: Grants access to all workshops and parties, but does not include bootcamps.
- Conference Ticket: Gives access to our 2 hour conference on Saturday for attendees that din't buy the Fullpass or VIP Pass.
- Bootcamp Ticket: Provides access to a chosen bootcamp and the Saturday party where the bootcamp choreography will be performed.
- Partypass: Grants access to all the festival parties.
- Party Ticket: Gives access to a selected party night.
